Imagination is the Magic of life

Imagination is the magic of life. You might say not life,but childhood. However, I disagree. I think your never too old for imagination. When your young you imagine magic carpets, being a superhero, or maybe a princess. Imagination is a vital part of growing up. It shows you to dream and how to live out those dreams. Obviously you cannot really be a superhero or a princess. When I was young, my imagination was alway at play. I would put on puppet shows, write stories, and even play mommy. I believe this factor of my childhood has made me a better mom. Here’s how

* I am able to let loose and be silly.
* I help my kids dream and dream big
* I am able to encourage them to believe in magic and enjoy life

These days kids grow up way too fast so this is important for them to have. What are some ways imagination helps you be a better mom? What ways do you and your kids use imagination?

    I agree that we all just need to relax and connect with our inner. I used to be self-conscious about interacting this way with my kiddo, but now I’m getting more comfortable, thanks largely to posts and articles just like this!! Thank you!

    I think this is GREAT! I’m a big believer in getting in there with the kids and just be silly. The sillier the better. Many times we’ll be driving down the street and I’ll just turn up the radio and we’ll all start singing at the top of our lungs just because it’s crazy and they love it. They think I’m silly and they like it. 🙂
